On December 6, 2005, a total of 86 adults and children were evicted by sheriff's deputies from their Lincoln Place apartments. This nine-minute film documents that dark day in Los Angeles history and the emotional toll it took on the many working class and elderly tenants who had long called the place home. Facing the threat of losing their homes, the Lincoln Place tenant leaders put together an offer to buy the complex and run it as a tenant-owned nonprofit.
